American Council on Education (ACE©) needed a site which allows students to determine the best option for returning to college. In partnership with Stamats, a marketing agency specializing in higher education, we developed a sophisticated filtering feature which allows users to search based on subject area, school, or transferable credits. Stamats provided project guidance and design assets, while Versa Studio developed the site with ExpressionEngine CMS and AngularJS.
The end result is a powerful, extensible set of search tools that quickly advises students of their options for schools participating in the Alternative Credit Project.
The ACE Alternative Credit Project is a large ($2 million) project with very nuanced needs in order to serve the adult student population intended to benefit from the project. With these nuances in mind, we had a very specific idea of what we wanted but weren’t sure how to make it come to fruition. Versa took our concept for the microsite and developed a dynamic and very useful site that met all of the needs we had envisioned. The team at Versa has been a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to meeting our needs.
