Save Japan Dolphins

Since 1982, the International Marine Mammal Project (IMMP) has been a global leader in protecting whales and dolphins and their ocean habitats. Save Japan Dolphins is one of several efforts of Earth Island Institute, the parent nonprofit to several projects to protect marine life.

A highlight of this site is our custom map and search feature for the International Dolphin Safe Monitoring Program, indexing more than 800 companies in 76 countries worldwide, to help ensure tuna caught by the capture of dolphins does not enter the tuna supply chain.
